1930s Cinema Chairs

These two 1930s cinema chairs were rescued from a cinema being demolished in Brighton. The iron work was cleaned and refurbished in gold. I thought it was important to retain some of the patina on the show wood, minus the odd blob of chewing gum. The surface was cleaned and revived retaining the patina which somehow kept a bit of the history in tacked. These chairs originally were upholstered in the classic red velvet, but I wanted to give them a modern pop with an orange Romo Velvet.
